How can you get out of a tunnel of lies?
I’m not the type of person to lie and ditch school. I’m the type of person to succeed in everything I do, which is why it’s dangerous for me to start breaking laws.
Meet Frankie. When the 7th grader finds a love letter addressed to her father, she begins a series of hilarious attempts to sabotage the relationship. Although Frankie’s actions are funny, her anguish is raw and profound and leads her to a surprising friendship with a trouble-maker named Johnny and an unexpected resolution.

The Naked Mole-Rat Letters is one of those books that goes through you, straight to the heart. I really connected with the main character, Frankie. She showed me that I couldn’t keep burying my feelings…Nobody realizes the bad plots in their life story until they have witnessed them in someone else’s. As soon as I read the book, I realized my plots were the same as Frankie’s. So I decided to make a change. This changed my whole life story, in fact it changed my whole family. For that I truly thank you.-Brianna
